Snapshots (of women we have touched)

Susan found herself homeless following her discharge from surgery.  CFTC was able to fund her temporary housing (a full suite with kitchen at a local Marriott Suites. Marriott HQ was kind enough to allow her to stay while her friends cared for her daily throughout her recuperation. Almost a month later, when she was strong enough to leave, CFTC helped her find other living arrangements that she could afford. Marriott HQ extended its support by providing additional financial assistance to help Susan get back on her feet.

Kim received financial assistance from Critters For The Cure and turned to us once again as she was ready to re-enter the workplace having completed her treatment. CFTC helped her update and upgrade her resume as well as coached her on interviewing techniques. Additionally, we helped her identify jobs she might be qualified for that would be less stressful than her pre-cancer work life. Kim landed a job with a catering company that catered our first Critters (and Couture!) for the Cure Fashion Show Gala with Bloomingdales.
